Ok this has nothing to do with photography but as an avid you tube explorer I occasionally find things that make me lose all consciousness from losing the necessary oxygen needed to stay awake from laughter.
I bring you
Joe Cocker in all his marble mouth glory.
Every time I hear this I think of the Wonder Years with Fred Savage. C'mon guys raise your hand if you had a mini crush on Winnie Cooper.

After driving some ways to another town I met up with Hillary and my friends for a fun filled senior clinic. Hillary was our senior model. Very photogenic and very pretty. She was in such a great mood all day despite the swarm of paparazzi around her all day. Thanks Hillary.

After 12 days of running in the woods she was finally spotted and tracked down.
The same people that spotted her about 10 days ago are the same ones that caught her. I had put Penny's kennel in their back yard after they saw her the first time hoping she would be smart enough to stay around houses and water since there is a big pond and plenty of fresh water running in streams around that neighborhood. My theory proved right thankfully.
There is a side story to this though which is equally impressive. The nice people who saw Penny the first time, Cindy Lashinsky and Ben Fiereer saw her again yesterday. Ben said he spotted her way up on the hill moving around and decided (with some help from Cindy) to go running after her up the hill and through the woods.
Ben gave chase and Penny ran from him but eventually after realizing that Ben wasn't a threat AND seeing their yellow lab nearby decided to turn aruond and headed right for their dog.
They were so nice guys. Really. I came to see penny and they had already removed several ticks from Penny and gave me the rundown of all the things I'll need to do to get her healthy again and up to speed health-wise. She handed me shampoo, phone numbers for vets, a tick removing kit (which I am still using ) and a new collar for Penny. I think Cindy said she is an animal trainer so her knowledge on veterinary medicine seemed to be really extensive.
It was meant to be. They took such good care of her in such a short amount of time. I'm glad they found her.
Here is Penny with her welcome home present after her much needed bath.

Meet Harrison everyone.
I know you can't tell but at age 13 Harrison stands 5ft 10in tall. He plays center for his basketball team of at Linglestown middle school.
This weekend he will become a Bar MItzvah. Saturday is the service and then in the evening is the party!!!!
We had a good time creating the portraits today at Chisuz Emuna in Harrisburg, PA. His younger sister, Lauren had an especially good time making horror film noises over the microphone system. As her mom put it she hasn't met a microphone or camera she doesn't love. Nice to see she is warming up for me in 4 years!!!
Here are a couple of my favorites of Harrison from today.

I come from Harrisburg, they come from New Jersey yet we found ourselves in Frederick Maryland. LOL go figure.
Two things I want to share:
1) Frederick Maryland is sooooooooooooo beauftiful. Parts of it remind me a lot of Oklahoma City's Bricktown. I could have spent all day down there. Maryland is such a beautiful state all around. If it weren't for my family and friends up here I would definitely move down into Maryland.
2) Dave and Dina are set to get married June 29th 2008 at Camp Shoresh in Maryland. These two are fun to work with and you can obviously tell they have a strong connection between them. OK not trying to step on Dave's toes here but Dina's smile can lite up an underground cave. She is such a pretty girl and she's a sweetheart. Dave and Dina, congratulations on your wedding and I look forward to creating more great memories with you in a few weeks.
I forgot to mention that everyone that has seen these portraits so far thinks Dave looks like Dr. McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy. Ya know…Patrick Dempsey.
My wife is going to starngle me but after Dave left my house after meeting my wife for the first time she says "Is that your client?" I say "yeah why" To which she responds "He's hot!"

This is another catch up I promised to do.
I loved how these turned out. She could have fooled another drag king into thinking she was a man. Her make-up skills were outstanding and her understanding of shadows was killer (yes I said killer).

Meet Matt and Melinda Raback.
They come from us right in my own neighborhood. Small world. Mindy was looking on google for a photographer and found me. If I squint really hard I can see their back porch from my house LOL.
Mindy and Matt wanted something more natural and relaxed and wanted to show off a bit of their newborn daughter's room.
Their house is beautifully decorated which made everything easy for me. Mindy and Matt have great taste.
Ella was so pretty and so calm the entire time we photographed her. I think we could have tossed her in the air, hung her up-side down, played the radio really loud and she still would have stayed asleep.
Here are some from their session

An officer just came by today with Penny's Collar in hand.
To be perfectly clear this collar DOES NOT come off easily.
1) It is a snap collar and is not a stretchy collar. This collar cannot be removed by simply pulling it over Penny's head. Her head is much thicker than her neck so there is no way this was taken off unless it was unsnapped.
2) The collar was found unsnapped and on the side of the road up on the parkway. He said it was found on Blue Mountain Parkway closer to Parkway East near the area where the Bamboo is.
Interesting timing. Just when my story came out in the newspaper and a day after I put fliers all over linglestown. Coincidence?
PEOPLE IN THE AREA OF BLUE MOUNTAIN PARKWAY AND PARKWAY EAST AND WEST PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED.
Here is a recent color portrait of her with the collar that was brought to me minutes ago

Yup…Today I am on a rant. Sorry if I break character for a moment but get this:
Yesterday I left to go to an engagement session down in Frederick Maryland around 1:15. I locked Penny (My Dog) i nher kennel in the basement when I left. There is a sliding glass door to enter my basement but it was locked. I am 150% sure of that because earlier I tried to enter the house through that door but couldn't because it was locked, so I went around front instead. No one was home other than myself when I left at 1:15.
My wife got home at 3:15. When she went downstairs she saw the kennel was open and the sliding glass door was wide open. Penny was no where in sight.
Penny is not the type of dog to run away either assuming that Penny opened her kennel by herself and the sliding glass door as well (CHYEAH RIGHT). When she is outside without a leash she won't go further than 50 yards from the house and will come back to the front door with-in 15 minutes of being outside.
Something is odd about this whole thing. All of my photography equipment was upstairs so there were 1k's of dollars worth of equipment to just take and the ONLY thing missing was my dog. She is a MUT so she has no value other than sentimental value to me.
This was taken by someone close to me. Either in proximity or relation. This stinks through and through.
There were contractors out back and they didn't see anything or anyone leaving through the back basement door.
I am just starting my blog as of 2008. It's going to be a great year. I've got an amazing new website and some even more amazing portraits and images to put up there. I am so relieved to have gotten rid of my old site. I hope you bookmark my page and come back to view my updates as they happen regularly. I will keep up with my blog as much as I can. I plan on updating this everyday. 2008 is on!!!
