This is Shannon who is due in Match. She wanted very sweet simple portraits. her and her husband, Bryan, enjoyed being in the studio and it was a nice relaxing session.

I am accepting applications for an internship at my home studio here in Harrisburg, PA.

In this position you will learn everything from A-Z. That means learning the boring stuff and being a grunt sometimes to eventually creating portraits yourself, answering the phones and meeting with clients.

Being that this is an internship you must be willing to work and learn in return for priceless knowledge. Through working with me you will know all the ins and outs of not only creating portraits in the style that I use but also learn how to run a successful photography business.

We are taking applications using this form only. Please follow the instruction on the form to avoid being looked over. We will be calling the finalists back to set up an interview with me after looking through the applications.

By the way if you don’t think you are a good photographer yet and think I am looking for the best talent out there you are wrong. All skill levels should apply but you should have good handle on the relationship between aperture and shutter speed.

This honestly was a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing here guys. So I really don’t know what I am typing here but I do know what will happen.

So I was editing an event I was at in Cherry hill, New Jersey and came across the image below. I completely forgot that I had taken this image. It is SCREAMING for a caption. I need your help to pick the best caption for this image.

So here it is: Email me at josh@joshbarry.com and put ‘Caption Contest” in the subject line and your best caption in the body of the email along with your name and phone number. The winner will be chosen by me and my wonderful family. Probably around the dinner table with a nice plate of spaghetti in front of us. Anyway, the winner will receive a FREE IN-STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION valued at $125. If I really like 2 of them I will give the 2nd place winner 50% off an in-studio session but we will see how creative you get. (Just mind your P’s and Q’s).

Analisse came into my studio sleeping and left my studio sleeping.

We Couldn’t have had a better session. She was in a good mood expect when she was hungry. Other than that she didn’t mind being on her tummy at all.

Thank goodness I had my v8 splash on hand to keep mom’s (Sandra) thirst quenched. That is now her favorite drink because of me!
